Jus scriptum : ウィキペディア英語版 | Jus scriptum Jus scriptum or ius scriptum is Latin for "written law". The Roman lawyers saw this law as a law issued by public authorities with legislative function. Such law was typically redacted in writing. In later Roman law and in present-day law written laws (''leges'') which are made by legislative organs of a state predicted by a constitution are considered ''jus scriptum''. ==References== ;Citations ;Bibliography *
